About blogger

Thoughts and reflections of a husband, father and friend.

Liberty Culture Journal is personal blog on Faith and Life in our World.

Hobbies I’m into are growing microgreens and hydroponic vegetables, and keeping small fish. It helps keep a little of my intake organic and healthy. I also like to go cycling; and occasionally take my bike up to the hills; and go trail hiking and get lost in the woods.

I have had the opportunity to live in various places: Vancouver, Ottawa, Virginia Beach. My life’s journey took me from working in the financial field in Toronto into ordained pastoral ministry in churches in both rural Saskatchewan and suburban Toronto.

My work in chaplaincy has brought me to the west coast of British Columbia, and most recently to Edmonton, Alberta. I thank God for his Calling and speaking to me clearly in my spiritual vocation of ministry (here). Today, I am grateful for this opportunity to minister as a chaplain to the men and women who serve this country.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

What gives me reason to wake up each day is being able to live in God’s grace, peace and power every day, and learning to be a better husband, father and a good citizen (sometimes through mistakes) and continuing in God’s call to ministry in this life.
